Refund policy
This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through buyafghanioil.com.
30-Day Return Request Window
You can request an eligible return within 30 calendar days after confirmed delivery. A return request does not automatically mean that the return is approved.
You must contact us before sending anything back. Items returned without prior authorization can be refused or delayed.
Eligible Change-of-Mind Returns
Because Afghani Oil sells cosmetic hair and scalp care products, a change-of-mind return is eligible only when the product is:
- Unused;
- Unopened;
- Unaltered;
- In its original packaging;
- With its original seal intact, where applicable;
- In resalable condition; and
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or an order number.
Opened or Used Cosmetic Products
For hygiene and product-safety reasons, opened, used, unsealed, or partially used cosmetic haircare products are not eligible for a change-of-mind return.
This exclusion does not prevent us from reviewing a product that arrived damaged, was defective, was incorrect, or was materially different from the order.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery if a product arrives damaged or defective, if you receive an incorrect product, or if the delivered product is materially different from your order.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- An explanation of the issue;
- Clear photographs of the product;
- Clear photographs of the packaging; and
- A photograph of the shipping label when relevant.
After reviewing the submitted information and available fulfillment records, we can provide an appropriate solution, such as a replacement, refund, or another reasonable resolution. A replacement is not guaranteed before verification.
Return Authorization and Instructions
You must request and receive approval before returning an item. Unapproved returns can be refused or delayed.
When a return is approved, we will provide the correct return instructions and return destination. Do not send a return before receiving those instructions. The exact return address is provided only after the return request is approved.
Return Shipping Costs
For an approved change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Afghani Oil is not responsible for an untracked return that cannot be verified as received.
For an incorrect, damaged, or verified defective order, Afghani Oil covers reasonable return or replacement shipping when a return is required.
We do not charge a restocking fee.
Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping can be refunded when:
- Afghani Oil sent the wrong item;
- The order was verified as damaged or defective; or
- Applicable law requires the refund.
Refund Processing
Returned products are inspected after receipt. We will notify you whether the refund is approved.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We aim to issue an approved refund within 10 business days after inspection. Your bank or payment provider can require additional time to display the refund.
If an approved refund has not appeared after the stated store-processing period plus a reasonable bank-processing period, contact us for assistance.
Exchanges
Direct exchanges depend on inventory availability and are not guaranteed. We can instead refund an eligible returned product and ask you to place a new order.
Order Cancellations
You can request cancellation before fulfillment begins. Cancellation is not guaranteed after an order enters processing or fulfillment. Once an order has shipped, an eligible item must follow the return procedure described in this policy.
If an order has not shipped and can be cancelled, the refund is issued to the original payment method.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened or used cosmetic products, except in cases involving verified defects or fulfillment errors;
- Products without adequate proof of purchase;
- Products returned outside the approved return process;
- Products damaged after delivery through misuse, improper storage, or failure to follow supplied instructions; and
- Items clearly marked final sale before purchase, when legally permitted.
Discounted items are not automatically final sale unless the storefront clearly identifies them as final sale before purchase.
Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
